Job Description

Administer hearing or speech and language evaluations, tests and examinations in a school setting. Assess classroom acoustics, hearing conservation and screening programs. Analyze hearing and auditory process deficits of students which may limit access to curriculum. Plan, conduct and monitor treatment programs, recommend assistive devices according to patients' nature of impairment. Interact with parents, teachers, school nurses to work as part of an education team. Keep abreast of local, state and federal regulations and policies for audiology services for children birth to age 21.
