Glen Simmons
Glen Simmons joined the PayScale Board of Advisors in 2006. Mr. Simmons has over 20 years experience as a Human Resources executive and consultant. He has held executive positions with REI, SVB Financial Group (formerly Silicon Valley Bank), and First Interstate Bank of Washington. Mr. Simmons' area of expertise includes driving initiatives to transition company cultures to a performance-based orientation. His professional accomplishments are many, including spearheading REI’s selection by Fortune Magazine as one of the 100 best companies to work for. While at Silicon Valley Bank, Mr. Simmons designed and implemented a compensation and benefits program founded on the philosophy of employee ownership that featured a total compensation component leveraged toward shareholder value and performance plans. This initiative at Silicon Valley Bank supported a share price increase from $8 to $55 during a 5-year period. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
