Mike Metzger joined PayScale in 2004 as the Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, he was with MAK Partners where he focused on the evaluation of early stage companies. In 2000, Mr. Metzger joined Performant as Chief Executive Officer and President managing all aspects of building and running the company, which was sold to Mercury Interactive. Prior to his work at Performant, Mr. Metzger served as Vice President Product and Services for WRQ where he co-authored the strategic plan and vision for the company. Mike also spent time at RealNetworks where he directed software product marketing efforts, started up the Real Broadcast Network, managed the product marketing for successful launches of RealAudio 3.0 and 4.0, and led the creation and development of an ASP stream hosting business for RealNetworks, which led to over $3M in revenue in the first full year. Earlier in his career, he held various positions at Microsoft, including International Product Manager, Lead Product Manager for MS Works and Group Manager Consumer Marketing. Mr. Metzger holds an MBA in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.

Jesse Levin has been a member of the Payscale Board of Directors since 2011. As Executive Director, Corporate Strategy & Development for the Corporate Executive Board (CEB), Mr. Levin is responsible for inorganic growth globally for CEB, including strategy development, transaction execution and post-transaction integration for all acquisitions, alliances and venture investments. Previously, Mr. Levin served in various roles at CEB in the Office of the Chairman & CEO, New Product Development and Strategic Research. Additionally, Mr. Levin is on the board of directors of LegalOnRamp. Mr. Levin received his BA from the University of Richmond and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
Justin Sadrian, who joined Warburg Pincus in 2000, leads the firm's West Coast office and focuses on media, Internet and information investments. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sadrian worked at J.P. Morgan in their investment banking and private equity groups. He is a director of A Place for Mom, Endurance International, GrubHub Seamless, MultiView and The Gordian Group. In addition, Mr. Sadrian is a vice chair of Friends of Hudson River Park and a director of Building Educated Leaders for Life. Mr. Sadrian received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Ash Somani joined Warburg Pincus in 2007 and focuses on investments in the Internet, information, software, and payments sectors. He is actively involved with the firm's investment in InComm and is a director of FacilitySource. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Somani worked as an investment professional at Audax Group and as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He received an S.B. and M.Eng. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
Parag Gupta joined Warburg Pincus in 2011 and focuses on investments in the Internet, information and software sectors. He is involved with the firm's investments in A Place for Mom, iParadigms, Slickdeals, and Stratford. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Gupta worked at Audax Group Private Equity, focusing on lower middle market investments. He received a A.B. with high honors from Harvard College.
