Sales training programs can be essential for getting the most out of employees. Fifty percent of responsdents said that they use internal training and certification programs with staff. However, this is not an inexpensive process. Perhaps this is why 68 percent of respondents said that limited funding is their primary obstacle to effective training.
Another great way to encourage productivity and successful sales involves sales contests. Eighty percent of respondents conduct goal-oriented competitions. What's surprising, though, is that only 47 percent of them find contests to be highly effective.
