Baltimore Metro Area Pay Trends

Updated April 5, 2012
2012: The small growth seen at the start of 2012, 0.3 percent in Q1, was not enough for Baltimore wages to fully recover from their losses in early 2011.

2007-2011: Wages in Baltimore rose during 2007 and 2008, then dropped in 2009, following the national trend. Baltimore had a relatively good 2010, as one of the few metros to outperform national compensation trends in 2010.

After a deep dive in early 2011 of more than a percentage point between Q1 and Q2, Baltimore wages finished the year down nearly 1 percent from late 2010.
