Transportation & Warehousing/Storage Industry Pay Trends

Updated April 5, 2012
2012: Consumer goods and travelers must be on the move again as wage levels in transportation and warehousing rose quickly in Q1 2012, growing more than 1.5 percent over the previous quarter. If this level of wage growth keeps up then wages in this industry will be back to their pre-recession levels within the next quarter.

2007-2011: After a strong rise in wages through late 2008, workers in this industry suffered higher losses in 2009 than those in most other industries, and stagnant wages in 2010. Ground gained in early 2011 had disappeared, and then some, by Q4 2011.
