Mechanical Design Engineer Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Mechanical Design Engineer?

Mechanical Design Engineer in Geraldton:
"Working tools."
Pros: I like that I am getting various tasks and that I can gain experience of fabrication since the workshop is just next to the engineering office.
Cons: The company made me relocate twice without any support then since the job situation has changed again they didn`t ask me to move again but now I have to travel 1000km weekly to work. I am not getting up to date software. Many of my jobs are too simple not challenging. The work environment (office) should have been refurbished for a long time ago. After more than 2 years I am still getting my starting salary and I don`t see signs of changing this. The company doesn`t invest on R&D.
