How should I prepare for an interview at Microsoft Corp?

1- Know your elevator pitch. That means why MS should hire you and no one else within two sentences. 2- Don't give generic answers to generic questions (eg what are your strengths/weaknesses). Honesty shows character/personality. 3- Passion. Passion. Passion. 4- It's ok to not know the answer to a question. How you respond to that uncertainty shows your tenacity in dealing with day-to-day work issues.

For an SDE interview I would recommend doing a lot of coding questions. Usually the problems don't involve riddles anymore, and specific trivia is not stressed, which is nice. So just make sure you are very solid on coding, data structures, algorithms etc and maybe some system design problems. Code quality is very important.
