What do you wish you knew about your job when you first started out?

Organization is key in any job - but setting yourself for success is meeting deadlines before the due date and showing the hunger through work ethic, which ultimately results in impressing the key people.
As I grow in my field, I find that you have to take charge of your own destiny more and more. Unlike a coordinator role where you are awaiting projects to be given to you - with a brand manager role you are scoping out the entire business and jumping to the call of duty at a moments notice. It's really "up to you" to carve out your own identity at this point in your career and show to the leaders what you can do and if you are worthy for the next level!
