First-Line Supervisor / Manager of Production and Operating Workers in Laval:
"Work to hard for what I get paid."
Pros: Close to home , save on gas, work with a friend, people are friendly and enjoy the atmosphere, bosses are cool but cheap and do not look at the actual work.
Cons: Long hours, no raises, no opportunities to move up.. Work with people who do not know and do not understand English or French . I pick up there slack And sometimes take no lunch breaks.
What do you wish you knew about your job when you first started out?
First-Line Supervisor / Manager of Production and Operating Workers in Woodstock:
If you are going to be promoted off the floor, be prepared. Be prepared for backlash from employees and some staff as well. Make sure the "ducks" are in a row as far as necessary training well ahead of time. You may know the jobs you are going to supervise, just not know how to supervise.
