What is it like working as a General / Operations Manager?
General / Operations Manager in Assiniboia:
"Managing and making money and designing the store also food."
Pros: 1. Like working with people.
2. My staff are great the work performance with them is that I can trust them and they all know every job in the store and how I like it.
3. The store is welcoming and people like shopping here and they feel comfortable.
4. Good customer service.
Cons: For in the town of Assiniboia for a manager it is the lowest paying job. I think the the Salvation Army should revamp and make sure that the staff are treated good so that they will stay.
General / Operations Manager in Oshawa:
"Feeling Mistreated And Underpaid."
Pros: My job is incredibly entertaining and eventful. I have learnt a lot in the last year of me being here, but it would seem that for the jobs that I am doing and the people I am supervising that I am not getting paid enough.
Dealing with people from all over the world is a great benefit to myself in this business and would like to continue to do so.
Cons: I feel as if I am being underpaid, under appreciated. The work I do is not simple, and it is incredibly stressful. I have a friend who is in the same situation getting paid almost three times as much and has to do half the work.
