Mechanical Drafter Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Mechanical Drafter?

Mechanical Drafter in St. John's:
"It's ok."
Pros: I am doing drafting and using all of the skills I have learned. I have been put in a leader position because of how proficient I am in Revit. The job isn't hard.
Cons: I find it frustrating helping people that don't take the initiative to learn for themselves. Mechanical drafting is not the type of drafting I want to be doing. I want to be in Architectural. People expect me to know about mechanical systems even though I don't know what they are.
