Registered Sales Assistant Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Registered Sales Assistant?

Registered Sales Assistant in Toronto:
"I like working for the Investment Advisor."
Pros: I like working for the IA I work for. He is a good producer and pays a decent bonus on performance each year. We have a good rapport.
Cons: TD base salary needs to be higher and yearly pay increases need to be adjusted. Some people have worked in the industry for 20 years with no increase in their base pay. Minimum wage has gone up 100% in the past 4 years, our pay 0%. I would leave TD if my IA decided to as I am not committed to the firm rather the IA.
