Senior Project Manager, IT in Toronto:
"Learn to Delegate"
One of the most difficult things for a new PM to learn is to trust team members to execute the tasks for which they are responsible.
You as the PM do not have to know how to do everything - your responsibility is to work with your project team to build the plan and then follow up to ensure that the plan is being executed as expected. The PM's job is to keep the plan moving forward despite the challenges that will be thrown at the project.
