Q: What is it like working as a Warranty Administrator?
Warranty Administrator in Grande Prairie:
"Car Dealership Warranty Administrator."
You are responsible for at least 1/3 of the car dealership's money, make sure they realize this when structuring your salary. The Warranty Administrator is essentially the Service Manager's "right hand man/woman". In many cases, your job requires long hours with practically no acknowledgements from any of the other departments. You play an essential role in the dealership's annual revenue. It is because of You, the Warranty Administrator, that the dealership gets maximum pay for warranty claims. Your job is stressful and chaotic at times. Lots of training and general automotive knowledge are required to successfully fulfil the requirements of this position. A good Warranty Administrator should be able to maintain an up-to-date warranty schedule at all times within a company that allows this person to perform their duties for their entire work day. Nobody else should interfere with your job duties; if you have a process that works then your dealership needs to let you fly on your own.
