Human Resources (HR) Manager in Dublin:
"Educating yourself."
I would advise anyone working within the HR industry to have a good knowledge in Employee Law, Case Studies regarding Industrial Relations. Also, use Legal Representatives for advise - SFA, IBEC, Peninsula etc... If you have a qualification in HRM, it will give you a good knowledge of all employment law, however you need to work ion the field to gain the most knowledge.
