Never Let the employer know that you need the job

Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer - (City withheld for privacy), Karnataka, India

Two simple rules:

1. Never express to the employer that you desperately need the job. The HR dept will ensure that you are hired for less salary.

2. If asked 'What is your expected Salary, do tell them a salary that goes with the current industry standards.
