All Advice
RF engineer
I want to become an RF engineer in wireless telecom domain. I am a first-class b.tech fresher graduate with certification in telecom network engineering. I, unfortunately, have no acquaintances in this sector due to which I could not able to get placed in a company and also could not able to get the advice properly to get into other sector. I wish I could have some solution from you so that I can make my career graph exponentially increasing rather declining.
I am working more and getting less
I am working in a MNC which does outsourcing work for other international subsidiaries. The current salary I am getting is far less than the industry standards. I am looking for a good infrastructure firm which offers a decent package along with a competent job profile.
Proper Work Life balance, boosts a individuals career.
Jobs today are highly demanding, individuals are forced to perform above their set goals and targets in order to retain their jobs, which leads them to be a workaholic leaving very meager time for them to spend with their social life. under such circumstances people become stressful, which directly or indirectly influence their performance and work-life . The solution for the above case is proper work life balance, which calls for effective time management with their job and personal life. If a individual is able to do that, then this will automatically reflect in his work performance , which in turn will help to boost one's career.
Dream Job
When I first started this job I worked alongside another assistant, but she didn't last long and I ultimately ended up doing both jobs on my own. I thought I deserved a higher salary but I was initially hesitant to ask for it.
Start Salary Negotiation
You always do not forget to negotiate your salary as high as possible while you are step into the job, else they (employer) will fool you as the name of Apprisals or hikes... Do not get fool later!!!
Shifting to my professionalisation in the field of HR
Dear Sir/ MadamI am Vishwanath Iyer aged 35 and currently working for Bank of America BPO in the Back office position since 4 & 1/2 yrs and I had pursued a PGDBA specialisation in HR and my previous experience was into Administration dept in to the IT industry. so pls suggest me what would be the salary advice I should go for? I had given interviews for HR but organisations now require min 2yrs HR exp candidates How should I go for that?
How I got my raise.
When I first started this job I worked alongside another assistant, but she didn't last long and I ultimately ended up doing both jobs on my own. I thought I deserved a higher salary but I was initially hesitant to ask for it.The hard part for me was finding the right words to describe what I wanted. I didn't want to come off as disgruntled. I also wasn't sure when to ask and I kept putting it off.I waited until the company's review cycle. I repeated (in my head) the word "fair", over and over. I tried to think about what problems my manager was dealing with, and how I was helping to solve them.I said: "I know its been hard to fill the other position. Since I'm working out and getting the job done, I'd like to be compensated fairly."I got a 7% raise and $500 bonus! And, my boss eventually also hired another assistant to help me with my workload.
Go shamelessly high
If you are confident that you will get the job or if you can sense that they are eager to hire you, go as high. For example, for my 5.5 lpa job (which I accepted), I asked for 7 Lakhs. If they say its out of their range, say you are willing to negotiate because you like the outlook of the organization etc. Never broach the subject yourself. Especially during the tech interview. Wait until they make the offer.
Best Path
Spitrtual path is difficult to find, but answers are best to my problems. like to change your perceptions about some one do not make any judjment or criticism .
