A human resource (HR) officer helps an organization develop, improve, and implement policies related to employees. They make sure that each employee is properly trained for his or her work and posseses the skills needed for the job. Some areas that the HR officer oversees include conditions of employment, diversity, accessibility, negotiations with external agencies, pay, and recruitment. HR officers must have an excellent understanding of their company to find the right candidates for job openings.
