Vice President (VP), Operations Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Vice President (VP), Operations?

Vice President (VP), Operations in Kuala Lumpur:
"Strategic Planning and Crisis Management."
Pros: The operations itself is challenging with the changing dynamics of the banking industry. In addition to that, I am constantly challenged to deliver efficiencies, increase revenues and optimise the operations. Further to that, banking operations is exposed to errors which could lead to financial and reputation impacts. I enjoy managing the crisis and formulating the solutions to these problems.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike about the job. All of the aspects provide a new experience or lesson. However, having to be the person who delivers the negative news to the entire function can have a personal impact to you. Nevertheless, as the leader, this is part of my objective.
