Executive assistants to CEOs have many administrative office duties, which they perform for company CEOs, presidents, and sometimes even members of management teams. Executive assistants must possess excellent organization skills, as this position takes place in a fast-paced work environment and includes substantial multitasking. This position most often takes place in an office, setting, and many tasks require extensive knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Most executive assistant to CEO positions ask for a minimum of two years' work experience, as well as a bachelor's degree, preferably relating to the field. Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills are a must.
