Architectural Technician Salary

An architectural technician is expected to be involved in all phases of the entire design process, including the preparation of drawings, schematic design and incorporating other designing dimensions using architectural and structural development via drawing software to transform specific designs into meticulously planned construction. Also, for presentations of potential designs as well as early design studies, architectural technicians are expected to use computer-aided design (CAD) software (among numerous others) for presenting. Architectural technicians are usually expected to work on goal-oriented tasks within a team under the guidance and direction of a qualified Structural Engineer or a senior architectural technician, whom in turn expects their support as required.
