Graphic Designer Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Graphic Designer?

Graphic Designer in Cardiff:
"Graphic Designer at a games company."
Pros: Flexible work hours are great. My job means I take in a whole range of work including: branding, video editing, web design, art/design for social media, pitch work and design for all printed media.
Cons: I am the only person in my company capable of doing my job currently.

Graphic Designer in London:
"Great Career With Lots Of Challenges And Creative Outlet."
Pros: I like the fact each day is a new challenge and that I have to constantly learn new things due to the advancement of technology and keep on top of new design trends.
Cons: People who are not design trained expect you to turn over design work quite quickly and when working on your own can be quite stressful to get work done to a high standard but quickly.

Graphic Designer in Farnham:
Pros: I really enjoy the variety in my job, and I like to be able to manage my own time with where my workload priorities are. I enjoy seeing the designs I create come back from print, and I also enjoy seeing all of the new cutters and other products I design when they are finalized. I also really like to see my illustrations being used this has been something that I have been really pleased to be able to do. I enjoy working along side Maree when she needs help with packaging illustrations, as it is a different part of my job that can be a nice change. I also really enjoy working with everyone here and its nice to have such a great team of people in the office.
Cons: I can find it challenging when I have to work with people who can be negative, I like to work in a positive environment and it can sometimes drag me down. I feel that having meetings with all the design team would help this. I think discussing your issues your facing on specific projects might help everyone to understand what you’re working on. Workload can then be looked at and might help the situation. I can also find it challenging when I look for new suppliers, especially when I am looking for something that is new to the company (and new to me as well!). It takes a lot of time to get the information and samples I need and sometimes this can take up hours from my day.

Graphic Designer in Bournemouth:
"Design The World."
Pros: Brand design, corporate identity, brochures, advertisements, logos, business developer, business accelerator, notebooks design, flyers, focused on creative processes, etc.
Cons: The only bad thing is when our ideas and design does not match with customer requirements. But the rest is a lovely and colorful mental journey.

Graphic Designer in London:
Pros: Colleagues and small agency atmosphere, not too much bureaucracy.
Cons:

Graphic Designer in IAS B2b Marketing:
"Creative, busy, stressful, fast paced"
Pros: Working in a creative team
