Project manager construction
Project Manager, Construction - (City withheld for privacy), Pennsylvania, United States
During the interview you may find the companies type of construction is not an exact fit to your backround. I have found that most interviewers will not give the latitude to see your experence could overcome this lack of experence in their company's type of work. You will need to be a very good salesmen to sell them on this area. Make sure to ask the question about this precivied train of though and what the companys stance on this subject is, remember that you also need to ask questions that are important to you.

Being a Team Player
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - (City withheld for privacy), Florida, United States
Many people say that being a L.P.N. is a glorified nursing Assistant or PCA as they are sometimes called. This is not true.

I have been an L.P.N for 20 years.I have learned all aspects of the medical system. I have learned from insurance , medicare compliance, and most important comstomer service.

The medical field is very customer service oriented now. You should have learned the basics of nursing such as Universal precautions , ect by now.

Every chance you get to learn about new procedures , equiptment it will only increase your value as a nurse.

When on an interview emphasize your knowledge or speciality and reinforce that being a TEAM PLAYER is always a priority.

You can be an excellent nurse but if your attitude is not correct it dosen't matter.

Don't be overly confident about knowing everything
Production Artist (Graphic Arts) - (City withheld for privacy), Nevada, United States
Be honest with what you know, but don't shoot out a bunch of terms and acronyms. People are still people and they are mostly looking for that perfect fit in addition to wanting your knowledge. The term "production artist" is sometimes confused with a graphic designer. A PA is more technically savvy, while the graphic artist is more design savvy. However, a PA knows what good design looks like. Most PAs are compiled of teams and being a team player is very important a degree more than knowing your stuff. You have to sell yourself as ready to work in a group, since that's how things get done.
