Although I am fairly new at this whole adult life, I must say that we, as a people, rush around for nothing. We are in a hurry to go to school, in a hurry to get out. In a hurry to find a job, in a hurry to retire. But the one question that I had to ask myself was: What makes me complete? I started looking for my first Construction related job by earning a credit for an internship program. The first internship I took was looking to hire interns and turn it into a full time position. They ended up liking me and I was offered a full-time position. If this were not the case it gave me a plethra of knowledge in the field which I didn't have before and could now use it to move into another intern position or strait into a different full-time job. For product management in software, it helps having your beginning in software development. This allows you to question new projects that come up. Also, it helps to have breadth of knowledge - it is good to know a little about a lot of things.
