I was fired for being honest, maintaing integrity and ethics in my practice as a social worker. I was fired because I attended Case Western Reserve's Mandel School where others similarly situated were jealous of the educational excellence at Case. I was fired because I advocated for myself and spoke out against injustice.

I am going into my sixth year of college, attaining my BFA in graphic design. I currently got hired at my first "real job" as a graphic designer only a few months ago. My employer refused to sign me on at more than $8.00/hr because I have no previous work experience and have not graduated yet. I confronted him after my 90 "probation period" about working full time (40+ hours per week compared to my current 25). I work second shift and my fiancee works first shift, she's sleeping when I get home and I'm sleeping when she leaves for work. We both used to work second shift together at the same place. I am making more money now than I ever have before but the money is not enough. We never see each other and it's really hurting our relationship. They call second shift the life killer but it's really the relationship killer.
