Immerse yourself into whatever technology your employer has you working on. become the subject matter expert on the systems you work on as quickly as possible. engineers are usually the people who an electronics technician reports to, they do not like having to spoon feed a new person. take initiative, be interested, and try to become a usefull part of the team as quickly as possible.
