Project Management also popped up often in the survey as an important skill; nearly one-fourth of employees surveyed report using it at work. Employees also tend to know Process Improvement, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.
The number of male employees who participated in the survey outweighs the number of women; the male-to-female ratio is more than 3 to 1.
A fair number of respondents save up for retirement through a 401(k) plan. Health insurance comes as part of the deal for the vast majority of employees, and almost all survey participants report receiving dental coverage as well. Some other perks are flexible hours, tuition reimbursement, defined contribution (dc) retirement plan, life insurance, and a casual working environment.
