Those who have five to nine years of work experience see average salaries of approximately $90K per year. When we consider tenure, a substantial portion of employees (36 percent) have been working for one to four years and make $67K annually on average.


When it comes to location, the highest average paycheck (around $100K per year) can be spotted in Miami, Fla.; New York, N.Y. (approximately $98K), Chicago, Ill. (about $66K), and Durham, N.C. ($60K) are the next top-paying cities. Raleigh-durham, N.C. ranks low on the pay scale — at $44K, it is one of the lowest-paid cities. By state, the highest pay levels are found in Florida, where the average Credit Suisse employee makes approximately $100K annually.

Certifications and Degrees

Uniform Securities Agent State Law Holders have significantly higher pay than non-accredited workers at $120K per year. The highest-paying degree here is a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Finance; Credit Suisse awards $101K to these degree-holders.


The highest-paying skill to have in this role seems to be SQL; employees claiming this as part of the toolbox earn a median of about $89K annually.
