Those who have five to nine years of work experience see average salaries of around $139K per year. When we consider tenure, a substantial portion of employees (27 percent) have been working for one to four years and make approximately $39K annually on average.

Being a Diplomate of American Board of Emergency Medicine certainly has its perks — salaries approach about $339K per year and far exceed the paychecks of those without certification. Emcare, Inc. compensates medical degree-holders the most at $265K annually.
When it comes to skills, Emergency Medicine seems to bolster pay the most; employees who claim proficiency also enjoy a median income of approximately $301K per year. Emergency Room is a popular skill among Emcare, Inc. workers, with a little less than a fifth of those surveyed reporting using it on the job. Other skills in demand are Billing, Microsoft Excel, and Internal Medicine.

Paid time off is in short supply here, with only a third of survey participants receiving paid vacation and a fifth of employees receiving paid sick days.
