Purchasing Specialists rake in the most money, with average earnings of $18.78 per hour; Materials Specialists come in second with median earnings amounting to about $17.51, and Phlebotomists rank near the top as well ($15.50).
When it comes to skills, employees who report Purchasing among their abilities seem to make the most, reporting a median income of approximately $18.78 per hour. Customer Service is a popular skill among Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center workers, with just over one in five of those surveyed reporting using it on the job. Other top skills include Negotiation, Microsoft Excel, and Inventory Control.
