The highest paychecks go to VPs of Commercial Lending, who earn an average approximately $120K annually, closely trailed by Assistant Branch Managers of Banking ($36K) per year.


When it comes to location, the highest average paycheck (about $70K annually) can be spotted in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; New Orleans, La. (around $60K), Naples, Fla. ($55K), and Birmingham, Ala. ($45K) are the next top-paying cities. High paychecks are not found in Montgomery, Ala.; in fact, at around $29K it is one of the worst-paid cities. Within the company, workers earn the highest salaries (an average of $65K per year) in Florida.

Years of Experience

Between the one and five year mark, median pay is $50K annually. The greater proportion of employees (41 percent) report five to nine years of experience and bring home median pay of approximately $46K per year.

Certifications and Degrees

Monetary compensation comes to $75K annually for Certified Public Accountants, far surpassing the earnings of non-credentialed workers. IBERIABANK workers who hold a Bachelor's Degree are also well compensated, earning about $38K on average.


The highest-paying skill to have may be Financial Analysis; employees who claim proficiency also report a higher average salary of $70K per year. One of the more prevalent skills at IBERIABANK is Customer Service, with just under a third considering it a key competency.
