Respondents who have been working for five to nine years make approximately $111K per year on average. When we consider tenure, a substantial portion of employees (46 percent) have been working for one to four years and make $101K annually on average.
Earning $152K per year on average, Staff Software Engineers receive the most money, followed by Quality Assurance Engineers ($140K), Senior Software Engineers (around $132K), and Product Managers of Software (about $113K). Associate Marketing Managers at Intuit Inc. do not see much in the way of financial compensation and represent one of the lower-paid positions ($74K on average) at the company.
When it comes to location, the highest average paycheck ($121K annually) can be spotted in the company's headquarter city of Mountain View, Calif.; Plano, Texas (about $105K), Los Angeles, Calif. ($103K), and San Diego, Calif. (approximately $102K) are the next top-paying cities. Tucson, Ariz. is near the bottom for pay at around $76K. U.S. pay levels are highest in the state of California; salaries there average to $110K per year.
Certifications and Degrees
Certified Information Security Managers earn around $168K annually, far more than their non-accredited counterparts. Bigger paychecks are awarded to Certified ScrumMasters with credentials; these people earn about $147K per year on average. Those with a Master of Engineering (MEng / ME) at Intuit Inc. come out on top, and their salaries approach $150K annually.
