Respondents who have been working for five to nine years make about $111K per year on average. When we consider tenure, a substantial portion of employees (46 percent) have been working for one to four years and make around $101K annually on average.
The highest paychecks go to Staff Software Engineers, who earn an average approximately $152K per year, closely trailed by Quality Assurance Engineers ($140K), Senior Software Engineers ($132K), and Product Managers of Software ($113K). Financial compensation for Associate Marketing Managers is rather low — on average only $74K — relative to the rest of the company.
When it comes to location, the highest average paycheck (approximately $121K annually) can be spotted in the company's headquarter city of Mountain View, Calif.; Plano, Texas ($105K), Los Angeles, Calif. (about $103K), and San Diego, Calif. (around $102K) are the next top-paying cities. At $76K, Tucson, Ariz. is home to some of the lowest pay in the country. Certifications and Degrees
Certified Information Security Managers have significantly higher pay than non-accredited workers at $168K annually. Certified ScrumMasters with credentials can live quite comfortably; median salaries come in at around $147K per year. Those with a Master of Engineering (MEng / ME) at Intuit Inc. come out on top, and their salaries approach about $150K annually.
