Between the five- and ten-year marks, the average employee earns about $62K. Broadly speaking, the largest slice of the Prime, Inc. workforce (44 percent) has a tenure of one to four years and earns around $50K annually.
Residents of Portland pick up paychecks that are higher than any other city — the median salary is $57K per year; other top-paying cities include Fort Lauderdale (approximately $55K) and Springfield ($44K). Within the company, workers earn the highest salaries (an average of $68K annually) in Virginia.
Nearing the top of the pay scale are Tractor-Trailer Drivers and Logistics Managers; the former receives the highest median pay at approximately $62K while $54K is the norm for the latter.
Salaries approach around $44K for Class A Commercial Driver License Holders; non-accredited workers make much less. Prime, Inc. compensates Bachelor's Degree-holders the most at $47K per year.
The best paying skill to have in this role appears to be Customer Relationship Management ; employees who claim this ability report median compensation of $69K. Project Management is a popular skill among Prime, Inc. workers, with more than a third of those surveyed reporting using it on the job. Customer Service, Commercial, and Safety Compliance were also reported by many survey participants.
More than half of workers report receiving paid vacation days, but only 22 percent are paid for sick leave. Almost all employees take advantage of the 401(k) plan that Prime, Inc. sponsors. Roughly one-half report having health insurance, and more than two-fifths of workers report having dental coverage. Prime, Inc. also dishes out privileges such as a casual working environment, a subsidized cell phone, and life insurance.
