The highest paychecks go to Marketing Managers, who earn an average about $91K annually, closely trailed by Mechanical Engineers (around $72K) per year.
By state, the highest compensation levels appear in Texas, where the average salary is $123K annually.
Certifications and Degrees
Those lacking certification bring in much lower salaries than Certified Six Sigma Green Belts, who make $108K per year. SIG compensates Bachelor of Engineering in Bachelor of Engineering (BEng / BE)-holders the most at about $89K annually.
When it comes to skills, Strategic Planning seems to bolster pay the most; employees who claim proficiency also enjoy a median income of $128K per year. Project Management is regularly seen around here; nearly one-fourth of those surveyed report it as a core competency. Many workers are also familiar with Training, People Management, and Operations Management.
Benefits and Perks
A strong majority of workers set aside retirement funds in an employer-sponsored 401(k). Perks cover health insurance for a large number of employees and dental coverage for a fair number of survey participants.
