When it comes to location, the highest average paycheck (around $81.00 per hour) can be spotted in San Diego, Calif.; San Francisco, Calif. (about $74.87), New York, N.Y. (approximately $72.21), and Seattle, Wash. ($53.00) are the next top-paying cities. At $32.50, Los Angeles, Calif. is home to some of the lowest pay in the country.
