Years of Experience
For those who claim five to nine years of work experience, pay on average amounts to $46K per year. Workers who have been with the company for more than one year but less than five can make about $43K annually on average. When we consider tenure, a substantial portion of employees (35 percent) have been working for 10-19 years and make $48K per year on average.
When it comes to location, the highest average paycheck ($62K annually) can be spotted in Gaithersburg, Md.; Chicago, Ill. ($55K), San Diego, Calif. (around $55K), and Columbus, Ohio (approximately $54K) are the next top-paying cities. At $43K, Houston, Texas is home to some of the lowest pay in the country. By state, the highest compensation levels appear in California, where the average salary is around $55K per year.
Certifications and Degrees
Monetary compensation comes to about $50K annually for Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditors, far surpassing the earnings of non-credentialed workers. Becoming a First Aid Administrator can certainly pay off here; those folks make $46K on average. The Brickman Group, Ltd. compensates Bachelor's Degree-holders the most at $47K per year.
When it comes to skills, employees who report Customer Relationship Management among their abilities seem to make the most, reporting a median income of approximately $60K annually.
