By state, Colorado offers the highest pay at about $16.86 per hour.
Bringing in the most money are Retail Sales Managers — their earnings average $18.13 per hour. Operations Managers are a close second at around $15.14 along with Lead Cashiers ($10.18) and Senior Sales Associates ($10.12). Earning only about $8.50 on average, Sales Associates make less than most people in the company.
Certifications and Degrees
Salaries approach around $14.54 per hour for OSHA Forklift Operator Certifications; non-accredited workers make much less. The Sports Authority, Inc. workers who hold a Bachelor's Degree are also well compensated, earning $14.38 on average.
