(approximately $49K), and Providence, R.I. ($47K) are the next top-paying cities. Boston, Mass. is near the bottom for pay at around $35K. Years of Experience

Five to nine years of work experience seem to result in median wages of $49K per year. Broken down by tenure, the largest share of Zara employees (61 percent) have one to four years of experience and earn around $41K annually on average.

Certifications and Degrees

Employees who have a Bachelor of Science in Bachelor of Science (BS / BSc) make the most here, hauling in $48K per year.

Skills

In this role, the best-paying skill appears to be Sales Management; individuals who claim it among their capabilities enjoy a higher median salary of $50K annually. Merchandising is a popular skill among Zara workers, with nearly one-half of those surveyed reporting using it on the job. Customer Service, People Management, and Leadership were also reported by many survey participants.

Benefits and Perks

Company compensation for vacation days and sick leave is awarded to only 43 percent. A solid majority of survey participants report contributing to a 401(k). A large number of survey participants have health insurance, and benefits for a solid majority of respondents also include dental insurance. Privileges also include a casual working environment.
