Activities assistants generally work in extended care facilities, community centers, and other educational environments, and assist activities coordinators/directors to ensure that activities go as planned. They may also help their directors choose new activities which enhance relaxation, exercise, and mental stimulation and contribute to psychological, physical, and social development.
