Evansville is a city in and the county seat of Vanderburgh County, Indiana, United States. The population was 117,429 at the 2010 census. As the state's third-largest city and the largest city in Southern Indiana, it is the commercial, medical, and cultural hub of Southwestern Indiana and the Illinois-Indiana-Kentucky tri-state area, home to over 911,000 people. The area has been inhabited by various cultures for millennia, dating back at least 10,000 years. Angel Mounds was a permanent settlement of the Mississippian culture from 1000 AD to around 1400 AD. Administrative Assistant Reviews

Q: What is it like working in Evansville?

Administrative Assistant in Evansville:
"A good place to start."
Pros: I like working in Evansville because it is my home. It is where I am raising my family, and I love working with the University of Evansville. Evansville is up and coming and I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
Cons: I do not feel like I am going to make money with my current company, and there aren't many opportunities to rise up in Evansville, especially with average credit scores. Cost of living does not agree with average pay rates at all. It is hard to get ahead unless you are born that way, unfortunately.
