Job Description for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Home Therapist

Applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapists work with clients who are living with autism and intellectual disabilities. ABA therapists usually work with children and teenagers, using their skills to help clients develop and improve language and communication skills, cooperation skills, and daily living skills. These therapists also help develop appropriate play and social skills. The main responsibility of an ABA therapist is to implement the assigned treatment plan during sessions with the child. They should also be prepared to design and facilitate training sessions for the parents. Progress and goal reports should be recorded and analyzed after every session to ensure effective treatment.
