Assistant financial consultants generally work in office environments and provide immediate, devoted support for senior financial consultants and their clients. Another common role may involve proactively and sensitively revealing business-advancement opportunities through practical information investigation and helping aggregate data. Helping senior consultants to catch up on referrals and work with prospective customers is also important.
Candidates for this position should generally have a bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of monetary administration experience, and active and substantial FINRA Series 7 and 66. A Notary accreditation is also beneficial. Candidates must have strong communication skills and the energy to work well with customers and maintain their loyalty, and should demonstrate skill in addressing and resolving clients' concerns.
