The assistant manager must perform during the high paced atmosphere of food service and also manage the before and after operations. Flexibility is important and this person must be prepared to work different shifts and irregular hours when needed. The assistant manager is expected to be able to work a shift with very little notice. The ability to manage employees is required for this position and includes reporting problems to the manager.
