Job Description for Audio / Video Equipment Technician

An audio/video equipment technician is responsible for installing, setting up, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment. While this position does not always require formal education, an associate’s degree in a related field is often preferred. This person should have an extensive knowledge of computers, electronics, circuit boards, practical application of technology, telecommunications, and customer service.
