AutoCAD Designer Reviews

What is it like working as an AutoCAD Designer?

AutoCAD Designer in Houston:
"I really like to design new things."
Pros: I love to draw, I actually went to college for computer animation when I got out of high school. I like to do calculations and detail work. I enjoy the supervisory position.
Cons: My direct superior is a spineless individual and does little work. The president makes unreasonable demands and then jumps your case when you can't deliver. I'm pretty sure he's not doing things by the law. We have outdated and malfunctioning equipment and getting new stuff is a challenge. I feel I'm underpaid for the workload put on my shoulders and several others feel the same way while the owner and president take very large amounts every week for themselves.
