Auto Body Technician Salary

Very much a male-dominated career in the United States, Auto Body Technicians earn an average of $16.43 per hour. Career length is the main element affecting pay for this group — the company and geographic location are driving factors as well. Health benefits are not claimed by all — nearly one-half lack any form of coverage — but close to one-half have medical insurance, and just under one in three have dental, too. Job satisfaction for Auto Body Technicians is high.
