Bartender - (City withheld for privacy), Florida, United States
In a volatile career such as bartending, you want to make sure that you are as close to untouchable as possible. Make sure that you have the highest sales of all your co-workers. You will be able to get away with the little things that will get others fire. Also seperate work from home, as a bartender you are the host of the party every time you work. Nobody goes to a bar to hear the bartender complain, listening is your job.

Raise for them, Not me
Bartender - (City withheld for privacy), Iowa, United States
Too much overtime due to bookings and events, so they put the supervisors on salary. We work at the least, 50 hours plus. If there is private bookings, 77 plus hours a week. It's not a "raise", look at the net pay. I made more on the hourly.
