The primary responsibility for the Bank Branch Manager is to initiate sales, and increase revenue for a bank. This position is must be a leader for other employees and not only drive, but monitor the growth and performance of goals. A minimum of an Associate degree with five year experience in management and banking is required, and a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred. In addition, a Branch Manager must both register, and maintain a license with The National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. This is done so the branch can operate in compliance with the S.A.F.E (Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing) Act.
Ability to maintain a high level of customer service is mandatory. An ideal Branch Manager will be able to instill trust and create lasting relationships with bank customers. Knowledge in banking required to provide an educated reference for bank employees and furthering their education and skills set.
The Bank manager will work directly with customers, bank staff, and the corporate office to report and be responsible for bank operations. Typical office hours are Monday - Friday, during bank hours of operation, and closed on government holidays.
