Branch sales managers are in charge of all employees within their branch. As such, they are usually involved in the hiring, training and mentoring of branch employees. They also set expectations for their employees and see that the goals are accomplished. They also are responsible for maintaining merchandising standards as well as their store's upkeep. Branch managers must also understand, implement and enforce all policies regarding safety, client relations and more.
Branch managers must have a strong sense of leadership as well as have excellent written and verbal communication. They will often conduct meetings and delegate tasks to members of their staff.
